We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic student volunteers (BSc, MSc, PhD, Post Doc) to assist with on-site conference activities. The student volunteers will have opportunities to interact with senior mercury scientists and managers, as well as other students, while providing a valuable service in helping the conference run smoothly for everyone.
Student volunteers are needed to assist with many areas of the conference:
The expected time commitment for each student is approximately eight hours during the conference (this will be the equivalent of approximately two, 4-6 hour shifts).
To sign-up, you will need to register using the Student & Post Doc Activities registration button below.
A $100.00 post-conference rebate will be awarded to the first 40 students/post docs who also sign up to volunteer throughout the conference and complete their commitment.
Assignments will be based on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited—so register early!
Closer to the time of the conference, volunteers will be contacted by e-mail to coordinate assignments. Conflicts with oral or poster presentations will be accommodated, but volunteers are expected to be available for any of the weekdays of the conference.
